Weddings

I was involved in the planning of two weddings a couple of years ago. Along with a friend we put together the decorations and food for these events. I thought I would add pictures of some of the projects we did. This is the last wedding. It was close to Christmas and we did the theme to match the season.

Hair Bow Holder

I recently made this hair bow holder. It has a background color of purple lilac with a mix of kelly green and fresh foliage. It also has ladybugs and a bumble bee.

Terry Hat

I had another friend to have a baby, so I made another terry hat. This is a blue terry yarn and the circumference is 13 inches, but will stretch some. I hope that this will not be too small for him.

Ruffled Stole

This was a present that I made for Christmas. The yarn is an acrylic and mohair mix. Is is very soft yarn! The color name is Cherry Blossom.

Rag Dolls

I was inspired after a trip to a local museum's homecoming where I saw some ladies making rag dolls. I bought one for my little girl and my son also wanted to buy one for her, too. I watched as they made them and I decided to make one for a little girl I know for a Christmas present. So my sons and I went out and we picked fabric that matched a dress of hers. So I made her a doll that had clothes that matched her own clothing. The one on the left is the one I bought. The one on the right is the one I made.

Small Blue Camouflage Hat

This is like the hat from my earlier post. It is made from a blue/ brown camouflage yarn. This was made for a six month old little boy.
